When using a blow dryer to curl your hair, it doesnt exactly 'curl' it, it just add waves and flicks.

When drying your hair, add a handful of volume mousse.

Start by slightly drying your hair without any brushes, once it is quite dry, start rolling the brush around a piece of your hair whilst holding the blow dryer on it.

Spray with gel spray and this should add a flick/ curl to your hair. Repeat this around your hair and your hair will be full of volume!

You will need a voltage converter (110v to 220v) that can handle probably at least 2000 watts as most hair dryers have very high wattage requirements. As a rule of thumb, when you are purchasing a voltage converter, make sure that the wattage rating of the converter is higher than the device(s) you will be plugging into the converter to avoid damage to your device as well as to the electrical system.

Most hotels in Korea have hairdryers for your use. I'd keep mine at home and use the hotel's if I were you.. Or just purchase a cheap dryer in Korea. Considering the high wattage, the converter will probably cost just as much as the dryer anyway.

ok, heres the serious answer. Korea has different kind of power points. theirs has two holes instead of three. You can get an adapter that connects into the power cord of the hairdryer and will plug straight into korean power points in korea. You should be able to find this in a Korean grocery, or supermarket in your area, or in the airport at Incheon when you arrive in KOrea. It will be easy to find one anyway.

I fried my American hairdryer trying to use a normal adapter. Then i put in 30 bucks to buy a bulky 10 pound converter and it screwed up my straightener.

The cheapest and easiest way is to just buy a hairdryer here in Korea.

By the way, you need one of those bulky converters for your laptop or else you will fry your laptop battery.

You may have luck finding the old cap hair dryers at a thrift store if not new because it may even be easier for you. The blow dryers bother me too because of nerve damage my arm gets heavy and the vibration of it is very irritating or painful.

I'm allergic to the kitty that adopted me (she showed up under the shed one Sat.morning). You have a GFCI breaker in the loop. It is an outlet usually with a button or two in the center. It may not be in the bathroom you are using. It could be in the kitchen or garage. Once you find it, one button should be marked "RESET". Push it in and see if the outlet is working.

Also, it may be the hair dryer was on too long and the safety kicked on. Try plugging something else in to the outlet and see if it works.

If these don't work, you may have burned out the outlet itself. You would need to replace the outlet.

You may have too meny other electrical items on the same circut or commonly refered to a GFI over load area. If not then there maybe falty Breaker or fuse. Loss of electricity while using a hair dryer is due to a tripped circuit breaker nearly 100% of the time.

If you have a GFI type outlet (you can tell because it has a RESET button on it), then simply push the reset button as others have suggested. If you don't have a GFI outlet, then double check that you have indeed reset the circuit breaker in your main panel.

It's easy to think you have reset the main panel circuit breaker when in fact you have not. You must flip the circuit breaker to the "OFF" position first, and then back to the "ON" position to reset it. If you just try to push it to the "ON" position, it will NOT be reset. I have made this mistake myself.

You can turn your breacker back off and make sure that the wire going into the breaker is tight. Next check your outlet that your dryer was plugged into. It may be shorted. Make sure the wires are tight on the back side of it and make sure that the ground wire is not touching the hot wire or the connection on the back of the outlet. I have seen this many times. You will See a burn mark on your ground wire where it has arked. Just move the wire back out of the way. and re install the outlet.

How long have you had it? Blowdryers have a heater in the back to send the air out warm, so it may just be broken.

Most hotels in Korea have hairdryers for your use. I'd keep mine at home and use the hotel's if I were you.. Or just purchase a cheap dryer in Korea. Considering the high wattage, the converter will probably cost just as much as the dryer anyway.

ok, heres the serious answer. Korea has different kind of power points. theirs has two holes instead of three. You can get an adapter that connects into the power cord of the hairdryer and will plug straight into korean power points in korea. You should be able to find this in a Korean grocery, or supermarket in your area, or in the airport at Incheon when you arrive in KOrea. It will be easy to find one anyway.

Not a good idea....as others have said it will crack.Drying with a hair dryer will only really dry the surface....As a matter of interest how big is the gap between the tiles??? 3 days to dry ???Normally only 24 hours max.Are you using ready mixed grout or powder that you mix? I have found that the latter is much easier to use and sets much more quickly. The premixed "fix and grout" contains both adhesive and grout.It is much thicker and hard to use.Also if you let it dry on the tiles it is a pain to get off.Clean it off immediately with a wet sponge.
