Volume in hair w/o using a dryer?

What are some ways to give my hair some volume with-out using a blow-dryer or any other heat appliance? What product(s) should I use I how should I use them with letting my hair air-dry to get more volume (prefereble inexpensive ones)? I have extremely straight hair %26amp; even letting my hair dry in velcro rollers does absolutely nothing (it just falls right back to being straight as a board)

Volume in hair w/o using a dryer?

Use any volumizing shampoo and conditioner, then add some lightweight volumizing mousse to wet hair and put it up into a high ponytail or high bun. Let it air dry, then take it down and you should have volume.

Volume in hair w/o using a dryer?

buy sunsilk anti flat

Volume in hair w/o using a dryer?

You should use a really good volume shampoo like Pantene. Don't always straighten your hair it will make it dead and flat.

Volume in hair w/o using a dryer?

Volumizing moose, or they actually have like this heavy duty hair spray type spray that you can use by flipping over sections of your hair, spraying, letting dry, and then flipping back over that my hairdresser uses to create volume without ruining her hair...I don't know the name of it, but I'm sure you could go into a salon and ask. Hope that helps ;)

How to straighten hair with a blow dryer?

What steps would I take to straighten my frizzy hair with a blowdryer? Would I use the concentrator that attaches to my dryer? Help!

How to straighten hair with a blow dryer?

conair has a new one out it has a comb like attachement and is an ionic one (it makes your hair less frizzy)

How to straighten hair with a blow dryer?

yes use the attachment.. it's great =]

How to straighten hair with a blow dryer?

i would suggest using a flat iron, since it's a lot easier and sometimes turns out nicer depending on how frizzy your hair is.

but, if you want to blowdry it, you should use a big round brush, and start with the back. also don't forget to apply styling/straightening creme at the roots with your fingers. and yes, you should use the concentrator, especially if you have thick hair. the concentrator makes the hair dry much faster.

How long do i have to wait for peroxide to take affect with hair dryer. my husband gets home in 2hou

Quit cutting corners and go to a salon!!! Peroxide is gonna turn your hair orange.....yucky, yucky orange. Peroxide isn't the lightening agent it's the oxidizing agent, the lightening effect comes from the hair lightener itself. You're gonna get frizzy, dried out, orange hair. Get moving, he'll be home soon..........GO!!!!!!!

How long do i have to wait for peroxide to take affect with hair dryer. my husband gets home in 2hours?

LOL

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

That would be totally funny. I imagine that it is illegal as you are impersonating a cop. That would be a great gag to videotape and then to add to YouTube (as long as no one got hurt).

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

no, do it

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

That would be so funny LOL

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

OMG! You should totally do that!!! It probly is illegal though. lol!

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

try it see if you get arrested then tell us all!!! lol

make sure you have a box of safety doughnuts with you!.....

if police come toss them out the window they will get distracted and you can drive off to safety!!!! haha

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

No, as long as you can explain that to the cops when they stop to arrest you for causing a traffic hazard..........Ha, tell them it's a school project Ha Ha!

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

I dont know but thats hillarious

thanks for the laugh

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

How would you power your hair dryer.... and why would you want to waste your time on something to stupid...

Are you being serious... if so. I could think of a lot more productive things to waste my energy on.

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

im not sure about legarity but it would be agood test...

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

That sounds like fun! :) I don't think there's any law against wearing sunglasses and holding a hairdryer up. Go ahead, try it. :)

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

lol

Not sure if it is illegal but I bet its a lot of fun.

And gives you some good laughs.

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

Just make sure you have your medical id card so they know you belong to the funny farm, so they let you off easily. lol. This is funny.

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

and I cant believe at least one answer

GET A LIFE YOU MORON.

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

Not illegal, strange!!!!

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

No, there is no law against that. After all, people shouldn't be speeding in the first place. But with that said, it is a nasty thing to do. Most people are just trying to get to and from work and school and you are posing as the predator they try to avoid every day.

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

no .... but if you try to stop them with a pit maneuver with pistol drawn it might shake em alittle.

try not to shoot them,,,,... oh give them all a DUI test and if they pass just write out warnings.

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

Wish I was around when you do that....sounds like loads of fun...lmbo!

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

a radar gun looks nothing like a hair dryer. and if you cause a wreak then you can go to jail. the good thing is you can plead insanity.

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

Nope, it a form of entertainment around here. I also like to take my walkie-talkie into Walmart, find some ignorant kid working there, and point and gesture with the radio saying stuff like, "CODE 3 IN HOUSEWARES GO, GO, GO!", or "There's an elderly obese man stuck in the bathroom stall, run to the dairy section and get some butter, I'll meet you there, oh yeah get yourself some gloves!." The radio really sells it. People think if you have a radio in your hand your in charge.

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

YES!

You can charged with public nuisance.

Don't believe me? Try it and then come back and apologise.

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

Who cares? It's funny. The way the government works is they can arrest you for anything really (disturbing the peace, punlic nuisance, threat). But I doubt that would stick, and if you are going to get arrested for anything, make it that. It's something to tell the grandkids, and you can explain it to future employers and colleges, and make a joke out of it. The penalties won't be too huge at all. I'm talking a fine, or a warning.

Come back and tell us how it went.

Don't listen to the squares, you only live once!

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

idk but i think its funny to watch cars that are speeding when they all of a sudden see a police car sitting off the side of the road. like OH SH**!!!!! and hit the brakes real quick. or the dummy that is so into themselves that don't until it's to late lmao.

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

OMG thanks i need that. It just made my day but what the he** go for it and see. lol lol.

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

If you really need them, you could buy a portable power source thing. I think all you have to do is charge them up. You can always put your hair up too. I don't think anybody will care about your hair if you are camping anyway so don't worry about it :)

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

If your blow-dryer/ hair straightener are that important, don't go camping.

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

Keep it in a bun or ponytail.

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

go anyways..just wear your hair up all the time...

[guys 閳?nature gurls]

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

It depends how long your going for.I straightened my hair yesterday and when i woke up this morning (almost 27 hours after i straightened it) it was still straight. If the trip is for like 2-3 days the where a lot of perfume and deoderant and don't shower but if it longer then you might dye of non staightened hair. You could always scrunch it instead or wear ponytails a lot

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

Possibly get over it. I know that really does suck, I would be freaking out too, but...

That's really the only thing you can do.

I don't know of any blow drier that is battery powered.

None the less a straightner.

Sorry, but it looks like you're gonna have to go without.

:(

Although, do make sure to bring hair product so your hair doesn't get all frizzy.

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

who cares, everyone will look like you, ur fine

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

Just wear your hair up in a pony tail, and maybe wear it up in different ways. There is no other way outta this one! Can't really straighten your hair with out a straightener. Just bring some gel and scrunch your hair. This is a good way for your hair to take a break from all the blow drying etc... just wear it naturally or wear it up! Good luck!

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

sounds like you will be an awful camper. doing your hair should be the least of your worries while camping. matter of fact it destroys the point of camping.

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

You should buy the straightner that you just have to charge and then you can take it! It also isn't as big as a regular straightner so you can put it in your purse.

You can also just keep it in a pony tail.

If you really can't live without them, don't go camping!

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

lol - alas, I can guarantee you will survive without them.

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

You can just put some gel in your hair after you shower and scrunch it so it's wavy. I'm sure you'll be fine though. No one else there is going to have straightners or blow dryers either.

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

I know they make portable curling irons, that dont require electricity, maybe you can get away with just using a curling iron

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

Usually, if you keep your hair in a high pony tail after straightening, your hair will maintain a sleek, straight look with body. I generally wear mine in the ponytail while showering under a showercap, while working out at the gym and while doing things around the house until I am ready to go out. The shower cap is really good while showering because it allows you to take a shower while keeping your hair in the style it's in. They are pretty cheap as well and you can pick some up at a drug store. If you can't live without a straightener you may want to consider picking up a small portable one like the one on this site: http://wonderfulbuys.com/handyhair.asp

If you are the typical, anti-camper, you may also want to consider "Glamping" - short for glamourous camping! You can check out an article about glamping here: http://travel.families.com/blog/camping-...

and here: http://www.grouptravelblog.com/weblog.ph...

Hope this helps!

Im going camping and I cannot live without my blow-dryer/ hair straightener! What am I to do?

okay, so I can relate! I LOVE CAMPING. and there are also some things I cant live without. I sell on ebay and I *NEED* my laptop! ((I dont really care about my hair, but I do need electricity for some things). They sell adapters at walmart in the electronics department (and possibly in the automotive section) that convert your cigaret lighter to a regular plug. they even have ones you can plug a 3 prong plug into. Dont forget to charge your car battery after you use it. But it should enable you to use your blow dryer or hair straightner any time you want.

Have a great time camping!

How many kilo-calories of heat does the operation of a 1200-w hair dryer produce each second?

The answer in SI units is 1200 joules or 1.2 kilojoules. the definition of a joule is one watt second. in Calories, or English units, which shouldn't really be used with watts as it mixes systems of measurements, is 286.806883 calories or 0.286806883 kilo calories.

How many kilo-calories of heat does the operation of a 1200-w hair dryer produce each second?

Who the heck would know that?

How many kilo-calories of heat does the operation of a 1200-w hair dryer produce each second?

You've got me stumped! I didn't know you could produce kilo-calories from an electrical appliance. I was thinking kilo-watts.

But you're excused since this is your first question.

How many kilo-calories of heat does the operation of a 1200-w hair dryer produce each second?

kilo-watts is a measure of electricity and its measured in hours. And heat produced by it would be measured in btu's(British Thermal Units).Kilo-calories has nothing to do with it.

One step hair straightener/dryer?

i really need a straightener that i can use right out of the shower

like with wet hair, run it through and it will dry my hair (without damaging) and straighten and sleek..and stay straight..for a really long time..

my friend has one that is around $400.. any cheaper ones?

One step hair straightener/dryer?

Remington do good ones- check out your nearest Argos or Google them.

Also try E-bay as maybe they'll have the $400 for much cheaper!

Don't be afraid to splash out a little though- a good quality straightener will last much longer and cause less damage when used with a heat protector spray. This is espaecially true of the "wet-to-dry" design that can dry out hair easily.

You can try leaving a LITTLE bit of conditioner in your hair that'll protect it AMAZINGLY from te heat and make it SUPER shiny %26amp;sleek.

Hope that helps!

How can I straighten or curl my hair with a blow dryer?

And also how can I make my hair less puffy after I dry it with a blow dryer?

How can I straighten or curl my hair with a blow dryer?

You can't straighten your hair with a blow dryer. You'll need a straightener. You could probably curl it, though. You need a creme to make it less puffy. You put the creme in when your hair is still wet then dry it with your blow dryer. You could go to the store and buy the creme with the less puffy tag on it. Hope this helps.

How can I straighten or curl my hair with a blow dryer?

straight: After you get out of the shower, comb your hair, then dry it with dryer.

curly: after you get out of the shower, put your hair in curlers that aren't warm(or braid it.) and dry with dryer

How can I straighten or curl my hair with a blow dryer?

You can straighten it by pulling it down straight and blow up and down. Just don't let it blow all over the place. Or maybe that's just because my hair has a tendency to stick straight...

How can I straighten or curl my hair with a blow dryer?

If you want to straighten or curl your hair using only a blow dryer, I suggest you use Tresseme thermal creations straightening gel. I use it faithfully five times a week and my hair always does what I want it to. I hope that answers your question.

What to use for frizzy hair? Which is safer: Blow dryer or straightener?

I use a blow dryer and those round hair brushes to straighten my hair. I have frizzed my hair pretty badly. The little hairs at the top stick out like antenna %26gt;_%26lt;. I was wondering, how can I heal this frizz without going cold turkey. Any good products to fix this frizz? Quickly?

Also, I touch the blow dryer to my hair (for straightening purposes). Is this worse than using a tourmaline ceramic straightener? Please suggest things you KNOW shall work please.

What to use for frizzy hair? Which is safer: Blow dryer or straightener?

Use garnier anti frizz serum and I put the blow dryer right on peoples hair too. You should use a heat protectant like chi's heat protecting spray. Neither a Blow dryer or straightener is good for your hair. But If your going to flat iron you might as well dry your hair on cool or let it air dry. Good luck. Maybe you should give all heat a break and focus on conditioning your hair to restore it. Please add me to your contacts and email me w/ any hair questions you have via yahoo answers.

What to use for frizzy hair? Which is safer: Blow dryer or straightener?

try B%26amp;B Moustririzing Oil (it's in a pink %26amp; white bottle) 4 the frizz...well i use a blow dryer %26amp; straightner...it's probably safer that way b/c put the blow dryer so close to ur hair can be damaging.

What to use for frizzy hair? Which is safer: Blow dryer or straightener?

do not touch the blow dryer to your hair...thats worse. but the blow dryer is safer....just use it on its lowest setting...and use it like 5 inhes away...and then when your done....go over it with a straightner..and it shouldnt be hard to straight. also for flyaways like the way u describe...when your done..spray some hairspray on your brush..and then comb it through.

What to use for frizzy hair? Which is safer: Blow dryer or straightener?

I have frizzy hair to and what i do is after i wash my hair i get my round brush blow dryer and ceramic straightener and first i divide my hair in sections and get the blow dryer to straighten and dry it. then i divide my hair again and flatten it with an iron then when i finish i brush it and put a little of biosilk on it.

What to use for frizzy hair? Which is safer: Blow dryer or straightener?

When you use the blow drier to an already frizzy hair it gets worse! The hair will thin down and get frizzier! You have to give your hair good treatments before you go for those blow driers or even straightners!! For instant relief after you have set your hair, touch the tips of the hair with your finger tips which have been oiled. Do not use too heavy oils, look for mild oils like cold pressed olive oil or even jojoba which is excellent for damaged hair. Make sure your fingertips are not really soaked with oil. Touch the tips of the frizzy hair after you have finished drying the hair. Woahlah see the results when your hair will shine and does not look so frizzy!!! All the best and enjoy.

What to use for frizzy hair? Which is safer: Blow dryer or straightener?

blo dryers almost always get your hair frizzy, try towel drying it then brushing it with a wide toothed comb, instead of a brush. brushes pull and break your hair when its wet cuz its weeker. also in walmart in the shampoo aisle, theres special herbal essences no more frizz shampoo and conditioner and theres serum to just apply to your hair and done...good luck

How do u straighten ur hair with a blow dryer?

i try 2 straighten my hair with a blow dryer but it never works. but when they do it salon,it works PERFECTLY! how do u do it...i really need help!

How do u straighten ur hair with a blow dryer?

1. After shampooing and conditioning, dry your hair with a towel.

2. Apply a heat protectant product to your hair, paying special attention to the ends.

3. Place a quarter-size dollop of straightening balm in your palm. Rub your palms together to distribute the product over your hands, then massage it evenly through hair.

4. Comb through your hair with your fingers while gently blow-drying it on a low setting. This removes excess water.

5. Pull your hair into three sections, two at the sides and one at the back. Clip the two sides up.

6. Select a small portion of the hair from the unclipped section to straighten.

7. Using a thick, round brush and beginning at the roots, gently pull the brush through the hair to the ends while blow-drying it. Pull the hair away from your head, stretching and straightening it as you go.

8. First pull the brush through the underside of your hair so that you expose it directly to the heat of the dryer. Once that area is mostly dry, switch to the top of the hair.

9. Keep the tension consistent and evenly distribute heat over the section of hair you're working on. This ensures uniform hair texture and prevents overdrying of certain areas.

10. Once that portion of hair is straightened, continue selecting and blow-drying small portions until that section is dry and straight.

11. Repeat the process on the two other sections to straighten your entire head of hair.

How do u straighten ur hair with a blow dryer?

I love the dryers in the gyms I stand under the dryer and comb my hair and it stays straight until it gets wet.

How do u straighten ur hair with a blow dryer?

you need a really good and large round brush. you can get ceramic ones that dont make your hair frizzy

How do u straighten ur hair with a blow dryer?

Make sure the brush you are using is metal and not plastic under the bristles. This heats the hair as you blow dry. I suggest for best results a ceramic flat iron.

i have naturally curly hair,i often cut my ends and treat it well but what do you use to protect it from the damage of the blow dryer

What protects your hair from the blow dryer?

any type of frizz serum or cream will usually work. I prefer John Frieda. To prevent as much damage, i let my hair air dry about 3/4. Then i blow dry the damp hair straight hair to minimize the damage of the blow dryer. (I also straighten it, so the trick helps.)

1) Try getting an ION hairdryer.. it uses ions instead of using heat which can cause more damage.

2) Don't blow dry your hair when it's really wet. Let it air-dry for a couple of minutes and then style.

Also, in my expierience, I'll put the some of the curling product in my hair and scrunch it while I blow dry for about a minute or two, that's my hair though.

Hope I've helped =]

What protects your hair from the blow dryer?

What protects your hair from the blow dryer?

Use the cool setting...not hot!

What protects your hair from the blow dryer?

A good reconstructor helps- Aveda Damage Control, Joico Reconstructor or Kerastase. They have a lot of protein so only use 2 or 3x a week.

A leave in treatment before drying such as Biolage's fortifying treatment or any good leave in conditoner.

What protects your hair from the blow dryer?

Kenra Thermal Styling Spray works for me. It was recommended to me by another Yahoo member and she was right. It's great! It can be used on your hair before you start drying it or it can be sprayed onto dry hair before you use a curling iron, flat iron, or hot rollers.

I bought a large bottle of it at Ulta for $12.

I have seen another spray by Thermasilk at Target. It was$3-$4.

Good luck!

What protects your hair from the blow dryer?

Treseme heat tamer.

Can i straighten my afro hair with a blow dryer?????????

Can i straighten my afro hair with a blow dryer?????????

fist of all do not listen to whoever told you to relax your hair and then straighten it...that will damage your hair...if you want to do it natural...yes you can use ceramic straightener, but it will only last for a week...that will not damage your hair..as long as you apply the correct products to your hair to protect the heat from drying out your hair....but if your going to just blowing out your bangs use a wide teeth brush so it will be straight and full as well...hope this help..good luck!!!

Can i straighten my afro hair with a blow dryer?????????

I have found a product that will help straighten your hair and keep it straight for quite a while and it contains no chemicals.

Silk Polishing Hair Serum by Lustrasilk is fantastic at straightening curly hair %26amp; keeps it straight for a very long time (more than a week). My extremely curly hair reverts back to curly fairly easily, so I apply it to my hair before I blow dry %26amp; again when I get ready to flat iron or curl it.

I have only found it in one beauty supply store in my area, but I did locate a website called Texas Beauty Supply.com that sells it for about the same amount I paid. Good luck.

I hope you do not have a date any time soon.

What is the best hair/blow dryer that i can get for under $30?

-I don't want a wall mount or mini sized one, just a regular blow dryer...

-Please tell the store where it is sold.

Thank you...

What is the best hair/blow dryer that i can get for under $30?

That's a tough one but I'd say head over to Walmart and you should go by the wattage, the higher the wattage the quicker your hair will dry, and you should find something there.

What is the best hair/blow dryer that i can get for under $30?

hi there

unfortunetlly i can not direct you much

since i dont no what country your form

im in Australia

and i can tell you that the warhouse, target, kmart(wich is like walmart i think ) you will be able to get them and places such as crazy clarks (doller shops) where they have good stuff for less

What is the best hair/blow dryer that i can get for under $30?

This is the best,Because Conair is exspensive

http://www.target.com/Conair-Ceramic-Ion...

At Target,now thats cheap!!!!!

Hair straightener/dryer?

Okay, I'm a dude with a long hair (just below the shoulders), and whenever my sister blowdries my hair, it comes out perfectly straight and smooth (with body, not completely flat). However when I do it myself, I get about 50 curls and kinks in my hair and it comes out like a nightmare. Is there such a thing as a straightener that dries your hair, and straightens it without making it completely flat? I can add details if this made no sense.

Hair straightener/dryer?

Yeah

You could either get a Conair Infiniti which is about $40 last time I looked at it or a BaByliss that's only sold in Europe I think

They do the same thing though

It's a blowdryer and it straightens your hair

http://youtube.com/watch?v=lgdZNtaciOE%26amp;f...

Hair straightener/dryer?

No there is not such a thing. Maybe it is because she does it more than you.

Hair straightener/dryer?

I thought I saw a commercial by Conair with one that smooths, dries, and straightens.

Hair straightener/dryer?

No, there is no such thing. You can straighten your hair so that it does have volume. I also can't make my hair straight by blow drying, your sister has a different type of hair!

How can I build a hot air balloon out of a sheet of tissue paper, a hair dryer, glue, and scissors?

First i am assuming your talking about a small miniature one.

You think passing cars will slow down if I were to sit in my car wearing sunglasses and holding a ha

hopefully not. I would hope people driving by would be looking at the road and not into your car.

You think passing cars will slow down if I were to sit in my car wearing sunglasses and holding a hair dryer?

I think most people would get the hell away as fast as possible

You think passing cars will slow down if I were to sit in my car wearing sunglasses and holding a hair dryer?

Not really, but I think it would be funny to see that. Maybe they'd slow down if they were looking and eventually shake their heads.... still funny though.

You think passing cars will slow down if I were to sit in my car wearing sunglasses and holding a hair dryer?

I've done it. It actually works. I lived at an interesection in a rural neighborhood and all the people who recently got licensed would either blow the stop sign or speed down the road. I have kids of my own that play outside and the police department wasn't exactly cooperative in helping me stop this so I had to do it on my own.

You think passing cars will slow down if I were to sit in my car wearing sunglasses and holding a hair dryer?

They may slow down to see what the heck you are doing but then again they may think your a freak (not that i do) and zoom away from there above the speeding limit. others may look at you but not change speed. Some may be apsent minded and not see you. it all depends on the person.

You think passing cars will slow down if I were to sit in my car wearing sunglasses and holding a hair dryer?

Are you aware that intentionally distracting motorists could be a criminal or civil wrongdoing?

See the source below ... just in case my comment does not "reach you" or prevent you from causing a collision.

You think passing cars will slow down if I were to sit in my car wearing sunglasses and holding a hair dryer?

i hate it when folks get right on my bumper. i learned that if i start weaving a bit and drinking from a (water) container, they all back off real quick coz they think I'M the bad driver, not them. ha!

You think passing cars will slow down if I were to sit in my car wearing sunglasses and holding a hair dryer?

More likely they would think you have been on the computer reading some Steven Wright quotes.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Can I use the same adaptor plug in Germany, Italy and Spain? Or do I need 3 different ones for my ha

Sure you can. No need any adapter.

Can I use the same adaptor plug in Germany, Italy and Spain? Or do I need 3 different ones for my hair dryer?

All of Europe uses the same plug, so you only need the one adaptor. The only different one is the UK.

Can I use the same adaptor plug in Germany, Italy and Spain? Or do I need 3 different ones for my hair dryer?

I believe they are pretty similar. Many countries have the same two prong system, but the third grounding plug varies from country to country. We lived in France, and everything we bought there generally worked in Germany, Italy, and Spain.

Can I use the same adaptor plug in Germany, Italy and Spain? Or do I need 3 different ones for my hair dryer?

Should be no problem using the same one...

You're using a seriously under-powered tool for the job. You'd be better off hanging the bra in a sunny window or stashing it in a stove set at 200 degreees.

Where can we get a step down transformer for Korea to use a US hair dryer & curler?

If you are in Korea, any small electronic store will carry a transformer - they cost about $20

Where can we get a step down transformer for Korea to use a US hair dryer %26amp; curler?

many of the luggage stores carry a kit that you can get several adapters and a transformer.

I would even check Walmart/K Mart and Target stores too.

I brought a con-air curling iron that has dual voltage where it automatically adjusts and never had a problem using it in Europe

Where can we get a step down transformer for Korea to use a US hair dryer %26amp; curler?

If you are still in the USA, you can get one at Radio Shack for about $30 or less...

I am traveling to China and was wondering if I would be able to bring my hair dryer that is 1875 wat

I will be getting the standard converter to plug into the wall, but am wondering if my blowdryer will have too much power for their outlets.

I am traveling to China and was wondering if I would be able to bring my hair dryer that is 1875 watts.?

You will need to buy a converter that is capable of handling 1875 watts, which will be not only very expensive, but very large and heavy as well. If you're from the US, you're probably better off buying a hair dryer when you get there, or as others have said, many hotels supply supply them for you. You can also purchase dual voltage hair dryers most everywhere and all you'll need is an inexpensive plug adaptor if you go that way.

http://www.kropla.com/electric2.htm

I am traveling to China and was wondering if I would be able to bring my hair dryer that is 1875 watts.?

It's not the wattage of your hair dryer that matters. It's the voltage of the local electrical system that's important.

China uses 220 volts. American appliances are designed for 120v. If you plug your hairdryer in without a voltage converter, you will burn it out. A plug converter by itself won't help. That just lets you plug it into a Chinese outlet.

I am traveling to China and was wondering if I would be able to bring my hair dryer that is 1875 watts.?

If you are from North America, your hairdryer uses 110V. If you are from Europe or elsewhere, some countries use 110V, while others use 200V. China uses 220V. You can always use a current converter (NOT only a plug adapter!!!!) to go from 220V to 110V, but I would not recommend it. A hairdryer in China will cost you much less than buying a current converter and a plug adapter. Give it to the hotel staff or a friend when you leave China.

I am traveling to China and was wondering if I would be able to bring my hair dryer that is 1875 watts.?

Make sure you have an actual convertor and not just an adaptor. If you are staying in the more upscale hotels, then they should already have hair dryers in them.

Can I buy a step down voltage converter capable of dealing with an American 1875 watt hair dryer fro

I stupidly bought a hairdryer from America blissfully unaware that they use a lower voltage setting than the uk. As the cost of sending it back makes it pointless i wanted to know if there was anywhere in the uk i could order a voltage converter. They are available in American travel shops for about $15 but i have been unable to find anything similar in the UK. Low wattage voltage converters are cheap and available from amazon or maplins but 1875 watt voltage converters are either unavailable, massively bulky or cost about 鎷?0.

Any ideas where i can get a little cheap one like the travel converters advertised on american travel sites?

Can I buy a step down voltage converter capable of dealing with an American 1875 watt hair dryer from the U.K?

A step-down voltage transformer will do what you want. Look for one that will decrease your voltage to 115 volts. It doesn't have to be exact, anywhere from 110 to 120 volts will do. I can't quote a price but a step-down transformer shouldn't be too expensive. Sorry I can't give you a source but at least you have another option.

Who is the guy behind the umpires chair in the US open with the big hair dryer thing...is it a sound

I believe that microphone is used to listen to the ball clearing the net or not clearing the net when a player is serving. It is powerful enough to hear the sound of the fuzz of the tennis ball touching the tape at the top of the net which might slightly alter the direction of the serve (to the possible advantage for the server).

Who is the guy behind the umpires chair in the US open with the big hair dryer thing...is it a sound boom?

is a guy holding the microphone... its soooo funny to watch him turn the mic from one side to the other along with the ball!!

Who is the guy behind the umpires chair in the US open with the big hair dryer thing...is it a sound boom?

yea, it's so stupid, why can't they just use 2 mikes, one facing each side of the court? I'm sure buying a second mike would be cheaper (if money is the reason) than employing someone whose job is just turning the mike from 1 side of the court to the other.

Who is the guy behind the umpires chair in the US open with the big hair dryer thing...is it a sound boom?

It is a directional microphone, and it is used by the TV station to pick up the sound of the rackets hitting the ball and whatnot. You can also tell that it is for this purpose because he/she is always aiming it at the ball, and whenever one of the ball boys/girls has to return to a station near the chair you can hear the scuff of their sneakers as they get to their posts and kneel.

I caught my garden gnome trying to toss in my hair dryer into the shower when I was taking a shower

what should I do? Glad I listened to my gut instinct this morning. I picked him up, poked him in the eyes (think: the Three stooges) and drop kicked him into next week.

what should I do to prevent this from happening again? I think he was hitting the bottle way too early today

I caught my garden gnome trying to toss in my hair dryer into the shower when I was taking a shower today.?

I had a brief chat w/ my cousin and he swears you said you wanted to start multi-tasking, so he thought you meant drying your hair while you showered. The trouncing you gave him was effective and I doubt he will repeat that mistake anytime soon.

To prevent this from reoccurring, be sure to hide the bottle from him, at least, until you can get out of the shower..

On behalf of all us good gnomes, accept our apology.

make sure he hasn't been playing with any catnip or spray paint, and i would suggest getting a plastic flamingo rather than creepy little garden gnomes.

I am going to pop centuary hotel soon what do they supply in rooms, iron, hair dryer, kettle TV ect?

I am just wondering what I need to take just me and my kids, We only have 20 kg each so trying to keep light

I am going to pop centuary hotel soon what do they supply in rooms, iron, hair dryer, kettle TV ect?

I have not been into the hotel rooms but have been told they dont have anything like this. I think there is a TV and I was told if you need medication a free fridge (small portable type) will be included otherwise you have to pay for it. Most of the stuff is available to rent but they want people to eat in the resterants and pay loads of extra for irons and things

I am going to pop centuary hotel soon what do they supply in rooms, iron, hair dryer, kettle TV ect?

Pop Century has irons and ironing boards as well as newly installed hair dryers. Refrigerators are available at for a fee. TV's are of course in all rooms as well as High speed internet access(again added fee). Kettle/coffee makers are not available, I would sugget you pickup a cheap one to use while your here, they only cost about $10. The food court opens at 6am so most people crowd in there first thing in the morning. Microwaves are NOT available in the rooms either so you'll be stuck with the food court for a hot breakfast. Laundry facilities are available on property.

Hope that helps.

I am going to pop centuary hotel soon what do they supply in rooms, iron, hair dryer, kettle TV ect?

Hi! I stayed at Pop Century last summer. It was fun!

Iron %26amp; Ironing Board - Yes

Hair Dryer - Yes

Coffee Maker - Ours did

TV - Yes

Refrigerator - Ours didn't but I think some do. We requested a room with one, but still didn't get one.

Microwave - There are no microwaves in any Disney resort.

Please let me know if you have any more questions jbwatkns@yahoo.com

Add - hollisterbabe is so full of crap!!!! Those hotels are not dirty!!! I stayed at pop century last summer and it was very clean, the complex was very nice, and the room service was great. If you smell a sort of weird smell in the rooms, it's like that in all of the hotel rooms there, it's from the overtreated Florida water. And to recommend Old Town over WDW, you are out of your mind. Old Town is way cheesy and unsafe, as it's carny rides, and very low quality.

Do not listen to that person, she doesn't know what she's talking about!

I am going to pop centuary hotel soon what do they supply in rooms, iron, hair dryer, kettle TV ect?

pop century and the all start resorts are very dirty and have little accomedations, i beleive they have room service but youre better off finding a hotel off the disney property (dont go past about marker 13 because towards that way the hotels are filled with drugs and are very dirty and have alot of bugs and people who live in the hotels. 192 and international drive are good places to stay, i would prefer international drive though, much cleaner and newer but more traffic. also if you want something cheap for you kids to do you can take them to a place called Old Town and on sundays they have a $15 wristband for rides, theres a roller coaster, ferris wheel, pharrohs phurry boat, drop of fear, merry go round, kiddie roller coaster and a few other rides. its pretty much a carnival thats always there but theres also restraunts and specialty shops, its on 192, you cant miss it theres two very tall rainbow poles (its a ride but you cant tell from far way) and theres also a very tall sky coaster

How do you clean the dust out of the back vent part of your hair dryer?

I use an old toothbrush - make sure the toothbrush is dry and just start rubbing the back of the vent and the lint will just kinda clump together on the brush and just pluck it off.

Pretty neat and easy.

Good luck!

How do you clean the dust out of the back vent part of your hair dryer?

I just hit it with a handheld vaccum for a second or two, then spritz it with water.

How do you clean the dust out of the back vent part of your hair dryer?

Tweezers or that bottled air for the computer...

How do you clean the dust out of the back vent part of your hair dryer?

I usually dampen it with a damp Kleenex, and whatever I can't wipe off that way I use a tweezers to pull out. It's easier when it's damp. (Just make sure the dryer isn't plugged in and don't get it too wet.)

How do you clean the dust out of the back vent part of your hair dryer?

with a Q-tip

How do you clean the dust out of the back vent part of your hair dryer?

get a duster and try to get it out.

swiffer works too.

trust me.

i do wacky stuff with my hair all the time, and i have to know these things.

lol

How do you clean the dust out of the back vent part of your hair dryer?

Use the upholstery brush attachment on your vaccuum, it's the one with the brush. The bristles will help dislodge the dust and the vaccuum will take it away.

(Pardon me, but per another comment, I would never spritz water on an electrical appliance, you are likely to get shocked or short out the motor.)

How do you clean the dust out of the back vent part of your hair dryer?

canned air or an old, unused toothbrush.

How do you clean the dust out of the back vent part of your hair dryer?

Many of the ones with side vents, have vents that pop off for easy cleaning. I would check your back vent to see if it will pop off. If not, I have used the tip of a pencil to pluck the lint out.

try not to dry your hair so much or just dry it on the end. also, you could try only drying your hair on certain days of the week.

My shampoo works realy well, but in the winter I use a hair dryer which electrifies my hair. any sugjestions?

Let your hair air dry

My shampoo works realy well, but in the winter I use a hair dryer which electrifies my hair. any sugjestions?

have you seen the hair dryers that have an Ion button? Vidal Sassoon makes one. It works well to de-electrify.

I have now attached a link to the hair dryer. It is called an ionic hair dryer.

I also like silk therapy...biosilk smoother. link below

Is there any way to dry your hair to make it nice and smooth without the hair dryer?

Except for towel drying...which didn't really work so well, is there any other possible way?

Is there any way to dry your hair to make it nice and smooth without the hair dryer?

a just natural air dry combing through every 8 minutes for 1 hour, this makes it dry and smooth but it takes alot of time. the end result is soo cute and easy

Is there any way to dry your hair to make it nice and smooth without the hair dryer?

Get out of the shower, shake your hair and squeeze the water out with your hands, then when it is no longer dripping but still wet, apply John Frieda Frizz Ease (optional). then put it up in a bun and a headband. Go to sleep like that and in the morning your hair will be silky smooth!

Is there any way to dry your hair to make it nice and smooth without the hair dryer?

There are wet-to-dry straighteners that you can use, but it looks like you don't want to damage your hair with heat.

Buy some hair products available from your local supermarket that make your hair smooth or straight and let your hair air dry with this product in your hair. Sunsilk is a good brand for this kind of stuff.

Is there any way to dry your hair to make it nice and smooth without the hair dryer?

Is your hair fine like mine?

If so, I just let it dry naturally or with fan if in a hurry. Blow your hair with a fan until it's half way dry then comb or brush it frequently until completly dry. This does the trick to me.

Is there any way to dry your hair to make it nice and smooth without the hair dryer?

There are some flat irons that dry and straighten all at the same time!!! i.e. Remington Wet2Straight It's pretty nice

Is there any way to dry your hair to make it nice and smooth without the hair dryer?

Well your can wrap your hair, but if you have never done it before you need to go to a African American salon and have them do it the first time and show you how. Your hair is flat wrapped around your head in a circle and then you sit under the hooded dryer and when they comb the wrap out your hair will lay smooth with body and a kind of whiskey look. I think it actually looks really good on white ppl. You should try it. Good luck. Please add me to your contacts and email me w/ any hair questions you have via yahoo answers.

Is there any way to dry your hair to make it nice and smooth without the hair dryer?

There is this wonderful new thing called the Remington wet2straight hair straightner. It costs about 25 dollars, but it is worth every penny because it dries and straightens your hair at the same time. It's better than a normal straightner! It is less time consuming and it gives you better results. I didn't believe it either when I got it, but it really does work, even if you have really thick hair like me! You can get it at Wal-Mart or Target.

Is there any way to dry your hair to make it nice and smooth without the hair dryer?

Use hair serum. I recommend Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. It's about $20.00 but it's concentrated so it lasts a long time and is totally worth the money. Any other gloss or shine products will work but use any heavy gels or any sprays with alcohol. These aren't healthy for hair.

I HAVE STRAIGHTENED MY HAIR RECENTLY.and everytime i wash my hair i use dryer to dry my hair!!!?

will this cause any kind of dryness or damage to my hair??????is it ok if i continue using a dryer for dryig my hair??????

I HAVE STRAIGHTENED MY HAIR RECENTLY.and everytime i wash my hair i use dryer to dry my hair!!!?

As Long as u use the necessary heat defence spray for your hair and leave in conditioner blow drying it will be fine.. then use a further heat defence or frizz control to straighten your hair.. i blow dry mine and straighten it and my hair is fine.. just make sure you use the right products to prevent your hair getting dry or damaged x

I HAVE STRAIGHTENED MY HAIR RECENTLY.and everytime i wash my hair i use dryer to dry my hair!!!?

It sure will. Anytime you use high heat on your hair it dries out and is more prone to damage.

I HAVE STRAIGHTENED MY HAIR RECENTLY.and everytime i wash my hair i use dryer to dry my hair!!!?

anytime you use heated products on yoor hair it will dry it out but if yoo use a good heat protection and condition everytime yoo wash yoor hair yoo should be okay, just get it trimmed often too!

xoxox Kealey

I HAVE STRAIGHTENED MY HAIR RECENTLY.and everytime i wash my hair i use dryer to dry my hair!!!?

Yes it will. May I suggest a product that has saved my hair many times. Sunsilk leave in spray conditioner. (It used to be Thermasilk but now it's Sunsilk) This stuff will protect your hair while straightening and blow drying. You can use it on wet or dry hair. It's great for a bad hair day. Just spray and fluff and it looks as though you've just shampooed. Also, it smells really good! Of all the leave in sprays I've used, this one does not leave your hair feeling filmy and heavy. It's very light.

I suggest you use this to keep your hair healthy, shiny and strong. It really makes my hair beautiful!

How do i use the cold shot button on my hair dryer? why do i need it?

The cold shot button is good for people who put leave in treatments in their hair. The regular heat allows the product to penetrate the hair better because the cuticles lift a bit. the cold shot then comes into play to seal in everything by closing down the cuticles again.

How do i use the cold shot button on my hair dryer? why do i need it?

once your done blow drying and styling your hair use the cool shot option to keep it there for the day(suppose-ably) i use it then hairsprayy my hair..

there should be a butten that blue somehwere on your hairdryer. refer to the box for that.

:D

hope i helped.

please choose a best answer %26lt;3

How do i use the cold shot button on my hair dryer? why do i need it?

you use it set your hair after you blow-dry with heat...also, if you blow dry with cold occasionally instead of heat it will help prevent breakage

How do i use the cold shot button on my hair dryer? why do i need it?

When your style has been perfected, you can lock it in place by using the cool shot button.

It does this because your hair particles close up to protect them from the cold.

It also cools you down on a hot day, lol.

Which Voltage Converter I need for a British 220 Volts hair dryer ( 2000 watts ) to work in 100 -110

hair dryers are cheaper than a 2 kva transformer, maybe you can buy more than two for the cost of a 2kva transformer.

Which Voltage Converter I need for a British 220 Volts hair dryer ( 2000 watts ) to work in 100 -110 Volts ?

You need a 2 KVA transformer. That is pretty big, heavy and expensive. If there is a frequency difference, 60 Hz vs 50 Hz, the dryer may not work properly even with a transformer. You should buy a hair dryer designed for the voltage and frequency available.

Which Voltage Converter I need for a British 220 Volts hair dryer ( 2000 watts ) to work in 100 -110 Volts ?

You need a step-down transformer rated for at least 2000 watts. The hair dryer should work fine with this transformer in spite of the 50/60 frequency difference, but the transformer will likely cost more than a decent new 110V hair dryer. If you are flying BA, it will likely send you over your luggage weight limit too. ;)

Which Voltage Converter I need for a British 220 Volts hair dryer ( 2000 watts ) to work in 100 -110 Volts ?

All Converter is a powerful, all-in-one, multimedia application converting the media files among the most popular media formats.

Can anybody tell me which company first manufactured the hair dryer?

The first hair dryer was the vacuum cleaner! Around the turn of the century, women dried their hair by connecting a hose to the exhaust of their vacuum cleaners. In early models, the front of a vacuum cleaner sucked air in, the back blew air out, and the hose could be attached to either end.

In 1920, the first true hair dryer came on the market, but it was extremely large and heavy, and frequently overheated. Since then, thousands of patents have been issued for different hair dryer designs, but most of them only tweak the outside packaging of the hairdryer so that it looks more aesthetically appealing to you. Aside from the addition of some safety features, the inside of a hair dryer hasn't changed too much over the years. Not until 1951 was the first really workable dryer made. The device consisted of a hand-held dryer connected to a pink plastic bonnet fitted over the woman閳ユ獨 head. I dont know who manufactured it.

Can anybody tell me which company first manufactured the hair dryer?

The very first hair dryers were vacuum cleaners adapted for drying hair. Alexandre Godefoy invented the first electric hair dryer in 1890.

That would be totally funny. I imagine that it is illegal as you are impersonating a cop. That would be a great gag to videotape and then to add to YouTube (as long as no one got hurt).

Is it illegal if I parked my car with sunglasses on and point hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow??

no .... but if you try to stop them with a pit maneuver with pistol drawn it might shake em alittle.

a radar gun looks nothing like a hair dryer. and if you cause a wreak then you can go to jail. the good thing is you can plead insanity.

It just made my day but what the he** go for it and see. lol lol.
