The cold shot button is good for people who put leave in treatments in their hair. The regular heat allows the product to penetrate the hair better because the cuticles lift a bit. the cold shot then comes into play to seal in everything by closing down the cuticles again.

once your done blow drying and styling your hair use the cool shot option to keep it there for the day(suppose-ably) i use it then hairsprayy my hair..

there should be a butten that blue somehwere on your hairdryer. refer to the box for that.

you use it set your hair after you blow-dry with heat...also, if you blow dry with cold occasionally instead of heat it will help prevent breakage
